UK Delivery is within normal office hours usually within 2 to 3 working days from receipt of the order, if we receive your order before 2pm it will be despatched that day. If your order is received after 2pm, we will despatch the following working day. If for any reason we cannot deliver your order within this time period we will contact you immediately to inform you of the new delivery date, if this doesn't suit you, you may cancel your order.
When paying for an order by Credit/Debit card, we reserve the right to request that it is despatched to the billing address of the card holder. If this presents a problem we can also accept payment by bank transfer, further details available on request.
Overseas Customers: Should part of your order be out of stock, We will hold the order. At the same time, we will contact you by e-mail to advise you of the situation. The remaining items can then be placed on back order, although this will incur an additional postage charge. Alternatively, they can be removed from the order and then re-ordered on another occasion.
When ordering goods from overseas, please be advised that you are responsible for the import duties/taxes in your country. You may wish to check with your local authorities what these will be prior to placing your order.
Transair Flight Equipment will notify you if an item is no longer available and offer substitute goods where possible. If you do not wish to accept the substituted goods then you may cancel your order.
Email response time
Transair Flight Equipment will endeavor to reply to your enquiry within a couple of hours, however in case where this is not possible we hope to reply the same business day. Enquiries made after 4pm each day will be attempted to be answered the next business day. If an urgent answer to your queries is required you are able to contact us on 00 44 1273 466000 between 8.30am & 5.30pm where our trained staff will be able to answer any questions you may have.
Do I pay UK sales tax (VAT)? Customers from EC member states are charged UK VAT at 20% unless you have a business registered for VAT and are able to provide proof of your country code and VAT number. Orders received from outside the EU will be automatically charged without VAT.

Please return faulty goods to Transair Flight Equipment,Brighton City Airport, Shoreham-By-Sea. West Sussex BN43 5PA for repair or replacement. Should any of our products fail to meet your requirements, they may be returned within 30 days for a full refund providing they are unused and in their original packaging. We also recommend that customers return items on a trackable service as Transair can not be liable for lost parcels when returning to us. Goods will be refunded within 30 days.
When purchasing goods such as computer software, it is the duty of the customer to make sure that what you have ordered is compatible with your computer system or software. If you are returning an item for replacement you will be charged postage and packing for the return of the correct item. All products purchased from Transair Pilot Shop are guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months. This excludes videos, DVD's and computer software, which can only be returned for replacement if faulty.
Please Note: When returning Lifejackets or Liferafts for refund, a re-stocking charge will be deducted from the refund to cover the cost of servicing the equipment. This is currently set at £95.00 for Liferafts and £50.00 for Lifejackets.
Transair Flight Equipment pay special attention to our pricing, but sometimes goods maybe priced incorrectly. If an item's price is lower than our quoted price, we will charge the lower amount and deliver the item to you. If an item's correct price is higher than our quoted price, we will at our discretion honor the lower price. Sometimes we may not be aware of the price difference and therefore you will be charged the higher price, should this happen and you inform us of the discrepancy we will refund you the difference. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
Title to any products purchased from Transair Flight Equipment remains vested in us, until full payment is received.
Certain goods such as Liferafts and some Aerospace Chemicals are classed as hazardous for export purposes. As a result, on receipt of an order with these types of items in it, we may have to contact you to discuss an additional charge to cover the cost of the Hazardous Packaging Requirements.
We ship internationally every single day and currently ship to over 100 countries World-Wide. However, due to international sanctions we are unable to export to the following countries: Iran, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Cuba and Burma, Crimea and Sevastopol.
In addition, there are a number of other countries with restrictions on export which may require that we obtain an Export License before shipping the goods.
